The final cache key is the original remapped client url (or modified via an 
API). It seems like there might be some inconsistency here, and perhaps 
something that we should improve upon. This jira is only addressing a 
regression in TS's current implementation and any improvement we make should 
perhaps consider compatibility and be done in a new release (likely as a 
configurable option)?
