Removing Fix Version/s 4.2.1 during release cleanup: the implementation from PR
#53157 was subsequently reverted by commits
87f6ff898d8e78fca9d6039730446a985a060992 and
c9165e6908e1db7e11a9defbc27085edd8f3acce, both of which are on branch-4.2.
Leaving this issue reopened for future work.
