Uroš Bojanić updated SPARK-58638:
---------------------------------
Description: The merge script dev/merge_spark_pr.py requires every PR title
to carry at least one primary component tag. The EXAMPLES component (JIRA
component "Examples", a top-level build module) is registered in the script but
not marked primary, so a PR titled e.g. [SPARK-XXXXX][EXAMPLES] ... is rejected
at merge time and the committer is prompted to add another tag, even though
[EXAMPLES] has long been used as a standalone tag (40+ such commits on master).
This marks EXAMPLES as a primary component and makes the plural spelling
canonical, matching historical usage. (was: The merge script
