Nattavut Sutyanyong commented on SPARK-13417:
---------------------------------------------
I'd like to share that there is a JIRA SPARK-17348 opened to track an incorrect
result problem in subquery transformation. Subquery run-time processing is not
(yet) supported in Spark today. The current implementation transforms subquery
constructs into some forms of join operations in Analyzer. There are cases (as
described in SPARK-17348) that the transform alters the original meaning of the
subquery and gives incorrect result.
We may consider this JIRA resolved/closed for the implementation in 2.0 and
treat the problem as a follow-up work in a separate JIRA.
