I'm curious who the users were? You're talking about Spark committers or just
users of Reactive Manifest in a broader sense?
This conversation is while I'm reviewing your code in
{{org.apache.spark.streaming.kafka010}} package and think I could help here and
there code-wise if you have a plan (or a draft of thereof) in your mind.
What's "the second category"?
