Thanks for the bump, @ercsonusharma Rebased. numFound and numFoundExact for several sub-queries now follow #5172, so the earlier rule that cleared exactness for multiple sub-queries is gone. What remains is that a skipped partial shard adds no totals and clears numFoundExact, and the approximateTotalHits fallback uses the shard's own count.
