Closing in favour of #23. The Spring Boot 4 upgrade removes the OpenTelemetry instrumentation BOM (and `opentelemetry-spring-boot-starter`) altogether, along with the orphaned `opentelemetry-instrumentation-bom` catalog entry, and uses Boot's `spring-boot-starter-opentelemetry` with the OTel SDK managed by Boot. The only remaining OTel version, the logback appender, already comes from the version catalog.
