ASF subversion and git services commented on SOLR-18319:

Commit c2a9d5092d286fefd7c5a1c8f4ff7e2ad9f26a60 in solr's branch
refs/heads/main from David Smiley

SOLR-18319: Solr now logs core/collection not found (404) (#4666)

Solr's 404 page is now clearer / less mysterious. We now log 404s in Solr's
log.

> Simplify 404 handling

> We don't need a 404 page to accomplish the goal of SOLR-15923 -- to show
> something Solr-specific.
> While we're at it, logging in a way that's more consistent with our other
> request logs would be good, like "path=/doesNotExist status=404"
> Furthermore, recent changes that will land in Solr 10.1 broke the 404
> handling. Those changes might have unblocked the simplification here as well.
