This ticket is a wrapper for all authentication tickets related to the new UI.
h2. Scope
The scope of this ticket are the authentication features related to the new UI.
This includes user authentication that is required when accessing the new UI.
It does **not** cover the Security section where Solr can be configured /
authentication and authorization can be added to a Solr instance.
Devs should work on sub-tasks so that PRs are kept small enough and reviewable.
h2. Acceptance Criteria
This ticket will be closed once sufficient authentication options are
supported. That is when no more sub-tasks are added to this ticket.
