Thanks to everyone for the help. I merged this in a hurry because of the fear
of commits coming in to main from some of the open PR and thereby increasing my
workload of tackling it. I'm already reeling from SOLR-5707's recent changes
that posed a lot of problem trying to make it work with Lucene 10. In case
there are any issues arising out of the Lucene 10 upgrade (e.g. wrong fixes to
code, untackled issues, missing documentation etc.), let us open new JIRAs to
tackle them.
