Hi folks, raised another [PR|https://github.com/apache/solr/pull/3033] for POC 
implementation of in-progress cancel. Explained my approach in the PR, however, 
would love to get some ideas:
- In order for core level to truly cancel in-progress collections API, I 
believe this will have to be collection cmd specific. One idea might be to add 
different check points within core-level cmd code. Maybe there could be other 
approaches?
