David Smiley commented on SOLR-16699: ------------------------------------- It's possible to hit Solr's ZK oriented APIs for this as was done in SOLR-15062 (CC [~noble.paul]) but that is less efficient than returning it directly from COLSTATUS when multiple / all collections are listed. That API is also lower level; the proposal here is to elevate this bit of metadata in particular, named something like "creationTime" rather than use ZK terminology that reflects implementation details. > Expose collection creation time from COLSTATUS API > -------------------------------------------------- > > Key: SOLR-16699 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-16699 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Improvement > Security Level: Public(Default Security Level. Issues are Public) > Reporter: David Smiley > Priority: Major > > The COLSTATUS (collection status) admin API does not return the creation time > of the collection, which is interesting/useful for diagnostics. This > information exists already by virtue of ZooKeeper having a "ctime" metadata > in each node. I propose that it be exposed. -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: issues-unsubscr...@solr.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: issues-h...@solr.apache.org
