Eric Pugh commented on SOLR-10558: ---------------------------------- [~haythemkh] I noticed you going through and identifying a number of tickets that you think can be closed... In a perfect world, your commenting on this would be enough to prompt someone to actually close the ticket, but in the real world it can be kind of hit or miss... I would be interested in working with you to take a list of various JIRAs that are candidates for closing, with the resolution you would want, and then maybe a general email to the dev mailing list reflecting this? Then assuming no one has concerns, we could then close a whole bunch, and make sure this doesn't linger... > Support unlimited limits on ChildDocTransformer > ----------------------------------------------- > > Key: SOLR-10558 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-10558 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Improvement > Affects Versions: 4.10.4 > Reporter: Tero Paananen > Priority: Minor > Attachments: SOLR-10558.patch > > > The ChildDocTransformer has a limit on a number of child documents returned > per parent document. The default is set to 10. > We have a use case where we need to return all child documents. > The current workaround is to set the limit to a number so high it's unlikely > any parent document ever would have that many child documents. It would be > less error prone if the limit could be set to "unlimited". -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.20.10#820010) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: issues-unsubscr...@solr.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: issues-h...@solr.apache.org
