If using IndexBasedSpellChecker and spellcheck.q is empty the following
exception occurs. The default DirectSolrSpellChecker doesn't have this since
there is a minimum size of tokens checked. The exception is from Lucene, but
opening this in Solr for now since it is exposed through Solr.
