I would agree that in most cases that is true, but definitely not in all cases. There were many releases with very buggy Prometheus Exporters until roughly 7.5 or something like that, so it was much safer to run an 8.0 Prometheus Exporter with a 7.3 Solr Cloud, than a 7.3 Prometheus Exporter with a 7.3 Solr Cloud. I agree that ServiceAccount and Image could be auto-populated with the SolrCloud values, **only if they are not explicitly provided in the SolrPrometheusExporter Spec**. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
