Jason Gerlowski commented on SOLR-15086: ---------------------------------------- Since the SIP-12 work has wound down, I'm going to close out this umbrella jira. The only piece that remains unimplemented is the support for Microsoft's ABS blobstore, which I don't think anyone had plans to pick up in the near future. I'll leave that ticket open, but remove it from this umbrella. As far as I know, there's no blocker to someone tackling ABS down the road - it's just a much less used system than GCS and S3 which we already have support for. > SIP-12 Implementation Umbrella > ------------------------------ > > Key: SOLR-15086 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-15086 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: New Feature > Reporter: Jason Gerlowski > Assignee: Jason Gerlowski > Priority: Major > > SIP-12 proposes a variety of changes to the way that Solr implements its > backup/restore functionality.
