Houston Putman commented on SOLR-7977: -------------------------------------- Ah, so just looked and apparently when Gus introduced {{SOLR_JETTY_HOST}} in SOLR-13985 (9.0), he changed {{jetty.host}} to {{solr.jetty.host}} in {{jetty-http.xml}}. So now {{solr.jetty.host}} is the option used across all 3 files (jetty-http.xml, jetty-https.xml, jetty-https8.xml). > SOLR_HOST in solr.in.sh doesn't apply to Jetty's host property > -------------------------------------------------------------- > > Key: SOLR-7977 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-7977 > Project: Solr > Issue Type: Bug > Components: security, SolrCloud > Reporter: Shalin Shekhar Mangar > Priority: Major > Labels: impact-medium > > [~sdavids] pointed out that the SOLR_HOST config option in solr.in.sh doesn't > set Jetty's host property (solr.jetty.host) so it still binds to all net > interfaces. Perhaps it should apply to jetty as well because the user > explicitly wants us to bind to specific IP? -- This message was sent by Atlassian Jira (v8.3.4#803005) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: issues-unsubscr...@solr.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: issues-h...@solr.apache.org
