The `db` extra was added in `apache-sedona` 1.8.0...we use an extra on `apache-sedona` to unify the install behaviour among `apache-sedona[db]`, `apache-sedona[spark]`, etc, but there are occasional issues like this one that make that arrangement awkward. I think the solution would be to upgrade your version of `apache-sedona` (or if you absolutely need to run an earlier version of `apache-sedona`, you can `pip install "sedonadb[geopandas]"`). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
