I believe the PR that removed these from the documentation has been merged...Matthew kindly ran all of the examples by hand which identified these cases nicely (we can also run the examples as a CI job but haven't implemented this yet). Specifically for "Distance Spheroid", a workaround ST_Distance() for geography. We don't have a great way to cast to geography at the moment but a workaround is to go through WKB.
