Odd. That's definitely not what I thought it would be. This sort of behavior should have ideally led to an error rather than just hanging. I didn't follow the logic down to why it was taking so long (e.g. whether it was stuck somewhere). Did you? If you hadn't already, don't worry about looking more into it before the release. Wondering if it was in an infinite loop somewhere or something. If it really was "stuck" rather than slow, it would be nice to fix our code to properly raise a sedona internal error instead of hanging. Again, not a big priority.
