There are 2 issues involved: 1. **Sedona initialization failure (`ClassNotFoundException`)**: this was reported by https://github.com/apache/sedona/issues/2472 and resolved by https://github.com/wherobots/sedona-cloud-vendor-tester/pull/62. The fix will be included in the next release (1.8.1). You can try out the latest jars built by GitHub Actions: https://github.com/apache/sedona/actions/runs/19598185385 2. **Adding a prefix to Sedona functions**: this is not supported yet. The ST functions registered by Sedona will shadow DBR's geospatial functions.
