I think this is 99% an upstream thing where we need datafusion to better support wasm. You can do query parsing and planning but the tokio async stuff in the physical execution layer doesnt work. Theres also some stuff about loading data from local but that is less of a concern to me. Let me see if I have a fork of something I was trying here.
