----------------------------------------------------------------

>From a little testing, this problem appears to affect the processors using the
>AWS SDK v2 (currently everything but the S3 proeccessors, which remain on v1
>and appear to be fine).

Attempting to narrow down the cause further, but the suggested change to the
{{DefaultCredentailsProvider}} seems sensible, albeit difficult to test (it
requires an EKS deployment with IRSA enabled and configured).

I submitted https://github.com/apache/nifi/pull/9739 for the attempted simple
fix, but ideally it needs building, deploying, and testing in an EKS hosted
NiFi cluster.
