I'm starting to wonder if this feature is too risky. It seems like it could
accidentally break builds by excluding more artifacts than intended. Is it that
onerous to list the individual group and artifact IDs of each excluded
artifact? How much typing does this really save?
At a minimum the proposal needs to be better documented. Even looking at the
code I find I don't fully grok what's being proposed here. E.g. can wildcards
be used in group IDs?
