Slawomir Jaranowski commented on MSHARED-1204:
----------------------------------------------

I would like to move such decisions to user of library. Library can be used for
other cases.
We use it in m-dependency-p and we have options to exclude some of artifacts,
maybe we can introduce a default items to exclude by m-dependency-p.

> slf4j-simple is sometimes added to classpaths to shut up annoying warnings
> from SLF4J at run and test time, even though it isn't absolutely required.
> Can we do better with our analysis of the common case and similar ones,
> rather than reporting it as declared but unused?
> ```
> <dependency>
> <groupId>org.slf4j</groupId>
> <artifactId>slf4j-simple</artifactId>
> <scope>test</scope>
> </dependency>
> ```
