Hey, as an "older" linuxchick (40 something) I love the name. I've always 
felt positive about re-claimed names - it means that they really lose their 
bite. I haven't been called a dyke in years and years maliciously, I think 
primarily because we reclaimed that term, and it's no longer seen by most as 
derrogatory.

It's pretty quiet (in fact, it's been offline for a while) but it does exist.
