I would worry a bit about losing information -- since the human tendency
seems to be to hit reply without checking where it is going, suddenly a lot
of responses that would be of value, for example on techtalk, would just go
to the person who asked, and the rest of us would never know the answer.
One idea used on a couple of lists I belong to is that the person who asks
a question creates a summary of the answers to post to the list. This
might be less of an issue here, but I would definitely prefer to see all
the posts to techtalk....
