I used the same test as in mentioned Jira issues.
* Throughput in main is {*}246950{*}.
* Throughput in the branch is {*}253305{*}, roughly *2.5%* higher.
* 2nd run is *247247* vs {*}251796{*}, about *1.8%* higher.
Given that I don't want to run benchmarks for each individual improvement, it's
hard to tell which one of them gives the most effect. I assume it's accounting
for evicted pages in checkpoint speed calculation. Everything else shouldn't
affect the result as much.

New graph looks kind of smoother. Only the 1st run presented here.
