Ilya,
It also looks like you are using kind of non standard Amazon Linux image
(ami-6869aa05). Here is what AWS tells me about this image:

aws ec2 describe-images --image-ids ami-6869aa05
A client error (InvalidAMIID.NotFound) occurred when calling the DescribeImages
operation: The image id '[ami-6869aa05]' does not exist
*
Probably that's your custom private image. I previously tested the framework
with Amazon Linux using this standard image: ami-f303fb93
