I'm +1 for the patch as well, and the follow up jira to fix this properly -
what's being done today seems really strange.
Have submitted this multiple times to jenkins, and it's always got back with
some failure. Has anyone looked into why these tests have failed - are they
flaky (very likely - changing hardware causes random hive tests to fail,
someone sneezing apparently causes new test failures as well), or a result of
this change? Was waiting for that before committing.
