[~chengpan] For this you should probably start a thread in the dev list but
from my personal perspective having metastore as TLP is unlikely to happen in
the near term. In principle even now it is possible to have separate metastore
releases but this only happened once. I don't think there are enough community
member to back up this project if it becomes TLP.
