renjianting commented on HIVE-26175: ------------------------------------ I found in the HIVE-26175 update, the HIVE script added "USE_BEELINE_FOR_HIVE_CLI=true", so the client driver class by default will be org.apache.hive.beeline.cli.HiveCli, Instead of the original org.apache.hadoop.hive.cli.CliDriver. The Beeline client fixed this in previous versions, so the Master branch does not cause this problem.
