You are right [~dlavati]. The issue is that the version of Spark- no-hive
distribution that Hive uses is based on Spark 2.3. Spark 2.3 has some methods
that depend on Avro 1.7 that are not available anymore so this patch is
breaking, if everything is as I expect we just need to update the version of
Spark-no-hive to version 2.4.x and the tests will pass, but I have not found
any doc on how to do this or anyone who knows who can help me with this task.
