I feel some helper methods which are used internally should be declared as
IA.Private.
# prettyPrint
# createRegionName
# parseRegionName ( it should return RI rather than byte[][]...)
# getDescriptiveNameFromRegionStateForDisplay
# getEndKeyForDisplay
# getStartKeyForDisplay
# getRegionNameAsStringForDisplay
# getRegionNameForDisplay
# HRegionInfo parseFrom(final DataInputStream in)
# toDelimitedByteArray
