interesting.  Some of the tests disable the catalog jantior and others do not.  
Would it make sense to do it in all?

Can you add a comment about the problem that can be triggered if not present? 
If i understand correctly "the catalog janitor must be disabled in this test 
because it could come and clean up the inconsistency that we are trying to 
repair."
