Actually we have not yet published our findings on this. But we hope to do so
this week.
If you see the SocketChannel's in the RPC layer it is BB that SocketChannel's
work with. So having BR is nothing but going to be an indirection over the BB.
So considering that a BR wrapping BB is less preferred to directly using a BB.
