Bradley Bennett created GUACAMOLE-2227:
------------------------------------------

Summary: Add documentation section describing limitations when
running Guacamole over HTTP
                 Key: GUACAMOLE-2227
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/GUACAMOLE-2227
             Project: Guacamole
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Documentation
    Affects Versions: 1.6.0, 1.6.1
            Reporter: Bradley Bennett

It may be worthwhile to add documentation describing potential limitations when
Guacamole is deployed over HTTP rather than HTTPS.

Modern browsers enforce secure context requirements for certain APIs. When
Guacamole is served over HTTP, some browsers disable or restrict features such
as clipboard access. This can break cut-and-paste functionality and may appear
to users as a Guacamole issue rather than a browser security restriction.

As far as I can tell, documentation does not clearly mention that running
Guacamole over HTTP can result in browser-imposed feature limitations.
