For currently unknown reasons, the {{nop}} instruction sent by guacd to keep
the connection alive appears to cease happening while connections are ongoing.
This results in the client giving up and closing the connection under the
assumption that the server has stopped responding.
*NOTE:* The {{nop}} keep-alive ping sent by guacd (via libguac) is normally
expected roughly every 5 seconds, and is supposed to only _not_ be sent if
other instructions have been sent along the same {{guac_socket}} in the last 5
seconds.
