When using an iOS device like an iPad, the support for forwarding local touch
interaction as {{touch}} instructions does not work as intended, with the IDs
of each touch being randomized and extremely large. This can easily exceed the
expectations of code consuming these events (sequential IDs), breaking touch
interaction when the larger IDs result in the event being discarded as invalid.
