Introduce a user level-based access control feature in Apache Guacamole to
manage visibility and access to active machine sessions based on hierarchical
user levels within the organization.
*Background:*
Apache Guacamole currently provides robust remote access capabilities for
managing IT resources across organizations. However, in complex organizational
structures, it is crucial to restrict access to active machine sessions based
on user roles or levels to ensure security and efficiency. For example, a
manager or supervisor may need access to monitor and assist their team members'
active sessions without unnecessary access to sessions of users outside their
authority.
*Requested Feature:*
# *User Level Classification:* Implement a system within Apache Guacamole to
categorize users into hierarchical levels or roles based on organizational
structure or authority.
# *Session Visibility and Access Control:*
** *Visibility:* Users should only be able to view active machine sessions of
users at the same or lower level within the organizational hierarchy.
** *Access:* Users should have the ability to connect to and manage (view or
interact with) sessions of users at the same or lower level for support and
oversight purposes.
# *Administrative Controls:* Provide administrative controls to configure and
manage user levels, ensuring flexibility and adaptability to varying
