Well, after spending a few minutes reading the MS-RDPERP specification, it may
be possible to handle these situations a bit more elegantly. There are some
PDUs specific to the RAIL channel on RDP that are exchanged when windows are
moved or resized, including maximize and minimize, and there may be a way to
harness those to handle minimization events a little more elegantly.
Unfortunately I don't think it's been implemented in the FreeRDP libraries at
this point, so it will have to be implemented at a pretty low level in
Guacamole, but it may just be workable.
