It would be handy to be able to extract the domain into a token when using a
vault extension, i.e. the "domain" portion of a windows username/login
([https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/secauthn/user-name-formats#user-principal-name)]
This could either be explicitly read out of a "domain" field in the vault, or
split out of the username as seen in the above link.
The auto-splitting behavior should be controlled by a configuration property.
