Nick Couchman commented on GUACAMOLE-1484:
------------------------------------------
Unfortunately there isn't much we can do about this at a Guacamole level. The
interception of Alt-Tab by the client operating system is up to the client
operating system, and not in the control of either the web browser or the
Guacamole Client web application. I've run into similar challenges with the
issue that asks about implementing the keyboard lock API - which seems (to me)
to be pretty useless beyond a full-screen and/or personal web app (PWA)
configuration.
In Linux and/or Mac you have some more control over key combos, and you can
actually control whether Alt-Tab is used locally or not. In Windows you lack
this control, and you're pretty much stuck with it as implemented by Microsoft.

> Components: guacamole, RDP
> Affects Versions: 1.3.0

> Priority: Minor

> When using RDP on Chrome browser, there is functionality for full screen or
> as a separate app. Alt-Tab and other shortcuts seems to work on this mode
> for both OSX and ChromeOS and does not interfere with OS keyboard shortcut.
> However, this doesn't seem to work for Windows. I am not sure if this is an
> issue on guacamole or a limitation of Chrome browser on specific OS (Windows).
> Just wanted to know if anyone knows their experience on this and someone
> manage to make it work in Windows. Thanks in advance.
