Evidence from bisecting with repeat benchmark runs suggests that the
performance degradation seen here was introduced by GEODE-8496: top up
dependency updates (#5772), SHA 217be41f. This commit included 20 dependency
updates, so further bisection is needed to identify which of the dependency
updates caused the performance degradation.
