Hi @snuyanzin, apologies for the unsolicited ping. I noticed that you recently reviewed and merged filesystem connector path-handling work such as #27553, so I hoped you might be able to advise on this contribution. Would you be willing to take a quick look at the scope and approach and, if it looks appropriate, help me reach consensus and get FLINK-6417 assigned? The earlier #15436 targeted the legacy FileInputFormat; this PR instead implements glob handling in the default FileSource enumerators, preserves the existing behavior for non-glob paths, and uses only the generic FileSystem API. I realize that I opened the PR before the Jira issue was assigned. I am happy to convert it to a draft and revise the design or add further filesystem-specific coverage based on feedback. There is no urgency; if you are not the right person for this area, a pointer to someone more suitable would also be greatly appreciated.
