committer assign it to me?
I have been in this code recently for FLINK-40586 (PR #309), including the
enumerator side of the no-more-splits signalling and the counting-context
problem in {{DynamicKafkaSourceEnumeratorTest}}, so the reader-side equivalent
is familiar ground. [~slachiewicz] is working the same family of flakes in #285
and #310 -- if this overlaps with what is already in flight there I am happy to
stay out of the way.
One note before I start: the ticket records three CI occurrences but no root
cause, so the first deliverable would be a deterministic reproduction at unit
level rather than a patch. If it turns out not to be reproducible I will say so
on the ticket instead of guessing at a fix.
