Hi @davidradl, update: I rebased this PR onto the latest master and pushed head `18831e4`. I also fixed JSON projection decoding to construct the `JsonDecoder` with the writer schema when present, and added binary/JSON coverage for the factory path, non-zero-starting projections, and nested rows.
