Thanks for opening this big contribution.
I would like to take a short step back, though. For new modules and new
integrations, we need to have consensus first whether we want to add this to
the Flink code base, or whether we will ask to make this a separate project.
This usually depends on user-need, complexity of the code, and long term
commitment from the community to maintain the code.
We need to do this, otherwise it becomes impossible to maintain the Flink
code base, keep it stable and testable. Hope you understand that.
