Yi Tang commented on FLINK-21455:
---------------------------------

[~chesnay] Thanks for your reply.
Yeah, nothing is blocking me to use the HistoryServer. I create a k8s yaml for
it from scratch, which consists of a ServiceĀ  and a Deployment.

When i want to run a JM or bootstrap a cluster on K8s, i can run the script
{{kubernetes-session.sh}} or {{flink run-application -t
kubernetes-application}}. We also provide the {{kubernetes-jobmanager}} and
{{kubernetes-taskmanager}} scripts, though we don't provide them directly.
However, when i want to run a HistoryServer on K8s, i must create a yaml from
scratch.
Don't you think it is strange and inconsistent?

Just feel free to close this issue if it indeed doesn't make sense.

> Can we deploy history server on kubernetes while starting a cluster? Maybe
> add an option?
> Looks like it can only be deployed manually for now.
