hi,[~aljoscha] I think you've missed some information, the join I mentioned 
here is not the stream join but the window join, currently, window join is not 
supported in flink SQL/Table API, and we've implemented window join in flink 
SQL/Table API based on the window table function syntax. 

When you translate the window join sql query to physical plan,  for inner join, 
we can directly translate to the DataStream API that we've supported now, but 
for other join types, there is no implementation for now, so that' why I 
propose to add other join types support.
